"I'm stuck" is one of Dwight favorite new phrases. He says it often when he is in his carseat or when he wants to be on the move!!! He also like to say "I wanna water" as well. He has gotten quite outgoing and likes to say "hi" with a big smile to anyone he comes across.
Last week we went fishing with some friends of ours (one of Gary's first times to try fishing). He says that he wants to learn to do it so that he can take the kids fishing someday. We were not very serious fisherpeople, I have to admit. We mostly enjoyed sitting outside talking and throwing in an occasional line. We of course did not catch anything. However, Gary did have a dramatic moment when he dove into the creek after a bobber and came out soaking wet with a bloody gash on his leg! We will try again in another spot on Thursday.
Other lazy summer activities that we have been enjoying are going to the city pool and playing in our kiddie pool in the yard as well as eating outside on the patio. We also decided that instead of going out for ice cream, it was more economical to buy ice cream and cones from Walmart and make our own. The kids really enjoyed this. We ate them outside because it was a big mess (especially for Dwight who dumped his melted ice cream on Gary).
